Saudi Arabia's Red will soon become an International Dark Sky Reserve, the world's second-largest international dark sky reserve and the Middle East's first Dark Sky Reserve.

Red Sea Global will launch the Dark Sky Reserve in collaboration with the non-profit organisation DarkSky International as soon as it receives the certification as the Dark Sky Reserve.

To become an international dark sky reserve, Red Sea Global is designing the destination's lights to be very low and very subtle.

This light scheme will help tourists and guests relax and protect indigenous wildlife, reducing light pollution overall.
