A Micromoon will appear in the sky of Saudi Arabia on Wednesday, August 16th.

It will be visible by a telescope or binoculars as the side of the Moon facing the Earth will not be illuminated by the Sun.

Micromoon occurs when the New Moon is at its furthest point from Earth (known as the apogee in astronomy).

Also, a full moon will appear on the Saudi Arabian Skies on August 31st.
