The National Center of Meteorology has announced that extreme temperatures will persist across Saudi Arabia until the end of this week. From Sunday, June 30, to Friday, July 5, 2024, residents in the Eastern Region and parts of Riyadh should prepare for blistering heat, with temperatures expected to range from 46-49 degrees Celsius.

High Temperatures Across Key Regions
In addition to the Eastern Region and Riyadh, Makkah and Al-Madinah are also forecasted to face significant heat, with temperatures ranging between 42-45 degrees Celsius.
On Saturday, Al-Ahsa and Sharurah recorded the highest temperatures in the country, peaking at a scorching 47 degrees Celsius. Dammam followed closely at 46 degrees Celsius, while Al-Madinah, Mina, and Wadi Al-Dawasir reached 45 degrees Celsius.

As the heat wave continues, residents are advised to take necessary precautions to stay safe. Avoid outdoor activities during peak hours, wear lightweight and loose-fitting clothing, and drink plenty of water to stay hydrated.
