King Salman Returns to Duties After Recovering from Illness

Saudi Arabia's King Salman bin Abdulaziz has made a swift recovery from a recent lung illness and led a virtual cabinet session from Jeddah on Tuesday. The Saudi state news reported that King Salman expressed gratitude to those who wished him well during his illness.

Recent Health Scare

Last week, the royal court announced that King Salman had undergone medical examinations due to symptoms including fever, joint pain, and a lung infection. Following tests at the Royal Clinics at Al Salam Palace in Jeddah, the King was prescribed a course of antibiotics to combat the infection.

At the age of 88, King Salman has been ruling Saudi Arabia since 2015. His swift return to official duties reassures the nation and the international community of his continued leadership.
